Specifically designed to mount a bottle stopper blank to your lathe. 3/8" x 16tpi threaded stud matches most all bottle stoppers. 1” x 8 tpi thread for lathe headstock spindle.
After the blank is drilled by the included drill bit, the blank can be easily threaded onto the chuck and created a threaded hole for the bottle stopper stud.
Designed with the turner in mind. Thread the wooden blank directly onto the chuck as opposed to using a bulky 4-jaw chuck. More cost effective and more efficient during the turning process.
